Spot lamps

I want to fit some spot lamps to my D3, but I think LR are very expensive to do the work. Can anyone tell me if the wiring/relays are present to plug into, and can anyone let me know if the harness is available as a spare part?

I don't have or want a nudge bar, so to what do the spot lamps mount, or are there any brackets available.

If someone with spotlamps could have a look and let me know I would be very grateful.

Spot lamps kit is XQB500080, about £270 inc VAT and includes the wiring harness and switch:



For direct mounting to bumper you need VUU500110, but I can't find it in the parts catalogue, and so I can't get the price for you. Can't even guess, could be £10, could be £100 Rolling Eyes

The instructions look detailed enough Smile But they do seem to need activating via Testbook/T4.

I've seen this article, but all I wanted were a set of lamps that come on to assist main beam. This setup seems to be a switched driving lamp setup.

In the good old days, you could just power a relay off the main beam feed, and hey presto - Spot lamps.

I quite fancy a pair of chrome Cibie Oscars on the front Wink
