Fuel tank recall - confused!

Hi all,

Just had a call from dealer saying that "recall parts for your fuel tank are now in, can we book the car in?"

I didn't realise there was a recall for fuel tanks (Unless it's to make my V8's bigger Twisted Evil )and didn't even know they had been ordered on my behalf until this call.

Anyone shed any light??

Ta in advance

Jon

There was a recall on V8's in the US as they had a leak from the vapour recovery system... has been re-issued for the rest of the world.

Would imagine its for this.

Fitting of a new fuel tank is the action required.

You should have had a letter direct from LR relating to the issue Confused

If U don't want it, I'll have it as could do with a bigger tank for the TDV6!
