Off tomorrow to Skipton to do my long awaited Level 1 in a D3 Manual. I believe it is car-sharing with at least one other person (potential DISCO3 recruit).
Should be interesting seeing as we've had a few wet days, then been warm and dry the last couple. Coffeecup

He/She'll be alright, the D3 comes fitted with plenty of Air-Bags to act as floatation devices. Coffeecup

It's alright, you won't be sharing my Level 1 tomorrow.
Any way, I thought you did your Level 1 when it was an Imperial measure Coffeecup

I did mine at Skipton, really good instructor (I think he was the senior) took me around (he is a member of some local Land Rover club, and can talk a lot).
Good site though.

They will think there is some kind of conspiracy going on, two DISCO3 members in two days 8)
I had a great time, and picked up lots of advice - hope I remember it all when the moment comes to need it (failed hill climbs etc).
Shared the day with a guy from Essex, and introduced him to DISCO3, be good if he joins up and says hello. Both of us managed to get the D3 to object electronically to what we did, but a quick stop, wait and restart sorted it all out. Coffeecup

Ronnie Dale was my instructor, and I gave him one of our DISCO3 flyers.
Yes I took their D3 for a swim, though I made sure of the route before setting off in case of unexpected dog-legs Coffeecup
