how long can a battery be disconnected

Hi all,
As title says really,
I'm displaying the D3 across the country for the H4H rally, some places are asking for the battery to be disconnected.
Will the car loose any settings if the battery is left off for any time? longest time is possibly going to be 72 hrs.
Cheers Thumbs Up

Shouldn't from what I remember, but may possibly lose some of your nav recent visited places, but won't lose anything of use. No code etc on the radio. Just remember that you wont have an alarm if someone tries breaking in. You'll also need to lock the car first and then use the manual key entry on the passenger side door to get in/out Thumbs Up

You could also run a Vehicle Memory Saver through the car. This will keep radio stations, clock, voice commands etc, though not sure if the 9v option will keep the alarm armed.

The workshops use these if they are welding etc, to save loosing radio codes etc.
