Same as pulling the power lead out of a computer before it's shutdown, sometimes when you turn it on again it'll be okay, other times it'll bitch like mad! For the sake of waiting 2 mins for it to shutdown fully it's not worth the risk. It shows it on the sticker next to the battery so I suspect LR put it there for good reason The End
