While we do provide SV licensed equipment that is locked to a single VIN as a pre requisite to providing such capability as our equipment is renowned for, this is not some cunning money making ploy.

It's simply that if someone wants to set up a money making business based on the capabilities our equipment provides, we believe that they should contribute more to what this cost to develop than a private individual just wanting the same capability for their own vehicle should have to.

We fully appreciate that private individuals investing in our equipment my change vehicles or want to resell their systems on, so we provide a change of VIN ability at a very low cost that really only covers the Admin processing costs.

This is about 40 GBP on an MSV-2 and about 20 GBP on an FCR

This also provides a very high resale value to used equipment.

Is there anyone out there with a Faultmate who can 'enable' the newly fitted bluetooth module in my D3 for a reasonable fee?

I am based in Petersfield so anywhere between Southampton, Guildford, Winchester, Chichester
