battery booster needed
Hi,guys.
I tried American forums, but as always, when I ask question NOT involving tires or shortened rods,I do not get any answers.Once when i asked a technical question , one of the members responded that , with such a EXOTIC requests, I should post it on THIS forum .So here it goes:
Can somebody point me in the right direction, please, i need to purchase a good quality battery booster with charging mode up to 14.7 V, but also most importantly with a SUPPLY MODE 13.5V.
I recently bought a Foultmate MSV 2 from BBS and while performing a 15 min. diagnostics with keys in position 2 my battery went flat,so for a future work on Faults and codes , I would like to prevent that from happening again.Products, that BBS recommends, are sold mostly in Europe and Australia.I wonder if I can get similar tool here.Lr3 needs a serious booster, it takes 25 AMPS when keys are turn in position 2.Any suggestions?
I just need a booster that when connected to my battery , will allow me for longer diagnostics without worrying about battery run dead.I wonder what LR dealers use for that purpose, obviously CPU reflashes and other stuff last sometimes a lot longer than an hour.I tried MAC tools but no luck yet.

Cowboy alert... I've got an old battery that I recently replaced on the D3 - had to jump start the car a few times recently. If I leave this on a trickle charge, my guess is that it might be useful to provide just about enough juice to start a car just on the limit of turning over? I'm not looking for guarantees, just whether it feasible...

I think CTEK 25000 is supplied by 220-240 V outlet.I need something for 110V in the States. The 7002 is the only model sold with supply mode in here.I wonder what is the difference between them two?
