"How'd the install go??"
I was contemplating on whether to order the kit online and install it myself or bite the bullet and pony up the $3300 at the dealer. I found a custom van conversion shop that was also a Warn dealer. I took those picture instructions in to them and they said 2-5 hours at 70 per hour. Can't go wrong with that, right? Even the owner looked over the instructions.
So I order the kit which took 2 weeks. Brought it in to the shop. Later that day, they call me saying no can do. That it took them 3 hours to figure out how to take the bumper off. I kind of pushed them, as now I had no where to go and they did review the instructions first.
They agreed to charge me 8 hours or 560. It took about 7 hours, but sometimes they had 2 and 3 guys working on it. I was expecting that they couldn't do it in 5 hours. Picked it up, and it looks great. And works great.
They now have experience and would love more installs to do. LR3 HSE
