Well the rims were ok, a slight buckle in the worst split tyre rim but it balanced out. +£700

claim off the council ?
I think you need to provide photo evidence of the width, length and depth of the pothole, location in the road as well as road number/name etc.
I know a couple of people who have done this successfully.
I also know of someone who contacted the council without having the evidence, they advised him to get photos etc and by the time he got back to the pothole it had been filled in and his claim was denied, as apparently there was no pothole and he was lying 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten
Well, I say "fit", all I did was run the cable through the passenger door and tuck the CB between the seat and the centre console. Simple, convenient and works a treat although it is tiny http://www.4x4cb.com/public/item.cfm?Refer...tegory=6391978 Series 3 88 Military Green (Gone)

Looks a small cb, my cb's are a little too big considering they used to fit in cars a lot smaller! Sure somebody has done a neat install in a disco.

Fitted an ARB compressor (the single version) just behind the right side headlight. I used a bracket designed for a Prado which is manufactured by an Australian company called Kaon. I made the bracket work by installing some rivnuts and bolting the bracket into them. Then I wired the isolator switch into the cabin and used a land rover passion small switch panel to hold it.
I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself, as it works well and looks good. I just ordered the kit to relocate the compressor air intake and I'm now looking for a location to mount the air line connector so that I don't have to raise the bonnet to use it.Chris

I think that space is taken up by something on the diesel engined version. USB charger is on order to fill the hole in the LRP switch mount Chris

Finally received Prospeed bash guard, rock and tree sliders, compressor guard. Ordered in October and they arrived on Thursday.
Fitted the bash guard and sliders today. Was stumped by the compressor guard so will lift the car tomorrow and spend some more time figuring out where it hooks onto the chassis.
Compomotives arrived last week, but BF Goodrich are out of stock throughout the island Chris

Thanks Andy
Once I got under the car for a proper look it was obvious that the only place it could be fitted was that hole. Fitted without issue after using a few blocks of wood and a jack to hold the thing in place whilst I got the bolts in. The compressor guard is really heavy duty / heavy.Chris
