glad you have put this up as im planning on doing the same to my 2011 Orkney Grey that ive just bought.
couple of questions
1. which colour combo is the new grill on yours?
2. do you need to buy the filler strip that fits between grill and bumper ?
TIA

Grill is black, grey silver ‘I’ll pop the link when I get a sec.
no filla strip as it’s just a copy of the original shape but with the updated look. I thought about upgrading the lights but it was looking at nearly a grand so I went for the next best look.

Very easy facelift and for the colour, there is no right or wrong just personal taste. Good luck

just ordered the bits, went for black/silver/black and changing the bonnet letters to black Discovery.
next is black side vents and black rear lettering once i sell some bits off my old Freelander
i really like the idea of their rear lights for £230, and i guess there will always be a buyer on here for standard D4 rear lights
the D4 front end conversion has to be the cheapest and easiest upgrade going, its a whole new front bumper for the Freelander and even more for the Evoque.
Replaced the OEM locking wheel nuts with McGard ones. I've used McGard locking nuts for years on my vehicles and yet to encounter issues with these.
I checked the torque on all wheel nuts and some of my nuts are a bit swollen so I would like to replace them all before I have issue. The OEM design is sub-optimal, so can anyone confirm if these from AF are solid, rather than having a stainless cap?
Regards,
Steve

Discovered how to get it in to Extended Mode, and the mad sequence to reset the service interval having changed the oil and filter last night.

You have three normal suspension modes that the button can control. Access, normal and off road.
If you put it in say mud and ruts mode and then hold the up suspension button again for about three seconds some discos will lift to extended mode.
Apparently beyond that is super extended.
Of course it's just for getting out of trouble. I suspect it puts some strain on the drivetrain and brake lines etc

Not all done today....just getting round to posting, but led'd the interior lights and reversing lights, swapped out the two fag lighter/12v sockets on the centre tunnel for a voltmeter and twin usb plugs
ooo I like those - do you have a link?

Took my son and his fiance over to Manchester Airport to catch their flight out.
Round trip from Mansfield through Chesterfield then up the A6 into Stockport and M60 to the airport.
Then M67 and Woodhead Pass over to Sheffield and M1 back.
Absolutely stunning car to drive over, smooth comfy, powerful and totally effortless.
Now my son wants one even more 😂
