DG,
Can you please explain how I decipher the VIN number..........I can't make sense of mine compared to the sequence on the Recall notices....
Mine is SALLAAA136A4105xx !!!!!!
Cheers,
The important part for these bulletins is the LA and the last 6 numbers (I've removed the last two digits in the VIN you published) - add "LA" (the VIN code for Discovery 3) to the start of the 6 numbers to compare it to the LR docs - i.e. LA4105xx would be yours.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

I'm in the range, and I can see that the fuel pump is a new design and therefore shouldn't BBQ the family, but has anything about the vacuum pump changed at all? Surely a recall should be corrective action rather than just a postponing one? I have after all already had one new vacuum pump and have also a fine trace of oil in the line again, so unless the design is different it doesn't appear to be a corrective measure. Or is it just me? But he was ringing about the car you have just got rid of! I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
