I think I might need to get mine done at Ludlow as it sounds as you guys get some good work done there (as opposed to Shrewsbury Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad )

The important part for these bulletins is the LA and the last 6 numbers (I've removed the last two digits in the VIN you published) - add "LA" (the VIN code for Discovery 3) to the start of the 6 numbers to compare it to the LR docs - i.e. LA4105xx would be yours.

I'm in the range, and I can see that the fuel pump is a new design and therefore shouldn't BBQ the family, but has anything about the vacuum pump changed at all? Surely a recall should be corrective action rather than just a postponing one? I have after all already had one new vacuum pump and have also a fine trace of oil in the line again, so unless the design is different it doesn't appear to be a corrective measure. Or is it just me? Question
