Thinking of buying a Disco 3 TDv6 and looking for advice.
Hi all I would welcome any and all comments regarding the possible purchase of a Disco 3.
What I will be looking for is a high spec version, on air with autobox.
I'm coming from a background of TDi's and TD5's and now considoring Disco 3.
What do I need to know, what years are best, what problems should I look for, what mods do people do?
I'm familiar with De-EGR and De-Cat etc on my current cars, but what do you guys do to make it run as efficiently as possible, to achieve an optimum blend of mpg and drivability.
Does the TDv6 with auto give enough 'go'. Is the autobox 6-speeds like in the Jaguar?Yamaha Tracer MT-07

Welcome to the Madhouse!!! TDV6 Auto has loads of go, well does after remap.
Hi - don't make the same mistake I did and buy a manual. The autobox is far superior and has no real effect on performance. The D3's a big heavy car and the TDV6 while a fine engine, needs (in my opinion) to be remapped to give the car the performance it should have.
