Which D3?
First of my numpty questions!
I've spent a few hours looking at adverts for D3's on autotrader & ebay - and getting a little lost on specification - I think I need an HSE but that's beacuase I once had a P38 HSE, maybe I only need a base spec?
My ideal D3 would be dark blue, dark interior, auto, a/c, 7 seats, cruise control, & ideally aux-in for the stereo & a bluetooth kit. From a look around the forum I've seen that air-suspension is required too - is this the yellow button in centre console?
What I really don't want is a sunroof (I find them pointless & it's something to go wrong/leak) - is this standard on an HSE, which may mean it's an SE I should perhaps search for?
I'm not keen on sat nav as my tomtom is newer & therefore likely to be better - BUT is there something else the screen does too?
thanks

Sat Nav is the one thing that can't be retrofitted (unless you live in Cyprus ) so if you want it make sure you get an SE minimum (the last of the XS's had it too)Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

The sat-nav is updated yearly so probably as upto date as your tomtom and looks better than something stuck to the window
The yellow button on the centre console is the HDC (Hill Decent Control) To the left of that is a toggle switch for the suspension & the right is the range change (High/Low)

The SE's sat nav screen only does on road sat nav, the HSE has the 4x4 info graphics as well as on/off road sat nav.
I've just had my SE "unlocked" to include all the HSE graphic functions plus the sat nav updated to the 2009 dvd.57 RRS TDV8

Guess you're not looking for new, in which case a S spec will do...

What do you mean by "unlocked" ? Does this mean you can see the 4x4 info now? can anyone do this?

Sorry - used - I'm after an 06 or 07/57 type of age. - I guess at £15-19k, I have been slightly tempted at some pre-reg cars at £25ish but reckon a new car would end up being a garage queen when I need a car I don't need to worry about where I park it, or how I use it.
Didi initially consider an ex-Highways Agency car but they seem to be 5-seaters which is a show-stopper for me.
If anyone knows of an ideal motor (& assuming this breaks no forum rules) please post or pm me.
cheers,
A

If it's got the sat nav screen, he can unlock the 4x4 info graphics, off road sat nav features inc compass lat long nav, altitude etc etc.. he also programmed my "follow me home" lights to include the reversing lights and to work off the 3rd button on the fob... top guy.57 RRS TDV8
