I'd hope it would be spec'd up for the price hike.
That's $14k on top of what I paid drive away for a brand new MY08 SE. That was without e-diff, and I know the MY09 SE (and presumedly D4) has some more fruit than the MY08 but still if all you're getting is SE spec with the new TD set up I'd be disappointed with that price. 2012 MY13 SDV6 SE D4 Ipanema Sand with Almond leather

It has everthing the current model SE has, additional includes Harmon kardon 9 speaker stereo std, lcd screen for stereo info only std, auto lights extra, cameras extra. Disco 4 Sept 09

I've been told that the LCD screen is only with the optional Portable Audio Interface.

the LCD screen is standard with the high ice system that the SE comes with. In higher spec it has more functionality and serves as the screen for cameras and sat nav Disco 4 Sept 09

Hi Stevo,
Either the SE specs have changed in the last 2 weeks to include USB connectivity (portable audio interface) or your vehicle should have premium navigation too as an early model build. It was confirmed to me that the iPod connectivity lead was not applicable to my vehicle when I requested that it be ordered if the portable audio interface was fitted.

Mine was re-ordered today because the original was set to get the EU5 engine (DPF) and the mandatory sat-nav for early builds. Most likely now Jan delivery but worth the extra wait for me.

That sounds right. The Aug build was limited to Cars that had satnav standard but at a cost to the customer. I believe ours is booked for sept build Disco 4 Sept 09

Just had a chat with a salesman and he said the issues with options was weight related and due to ADR regulations for importing it under a certain weight.
SO, I wonder what that means for adding accessories such as front and rear bars etc? Does that take it over an ADR weight limit? OR is that ADR weight limit ONLY for the purpose of importing and isn't used once sold?
Any thoughts? regards

I did see a good article in a 4x4 mag on this. It took the LC200 and then added, aftermarket suspension, front bar, roof bars and basket as well as a set of drawers and a fridge. Once you put in 4 passengers it meant you could only legally carry about 100kg of camping gear. Basically it was saying no one who installs all this stuff is going to check how much your truck weighs, so you need to be careful you don't exceed the GVM.
I tried to search the net, but i assume there must be some sort of design rule that says if the GVM is 3500kg, then the dry weight must be x% of that to allow for cargo, and I know I'm assuming more but smart rules would take into account the number of passengers legally allowed to be carried.
7x average adult weight + the curb weight of a D3/4 wouldn't leave much change from 3500kg 2012 MY13 SDV6 SE D4 Ipanema Sand with Almond leather
