After some very good reviews I decided to buy a couple of Bosch Aerotwins A550S

A really perfect wiper and no sound at all. Thumbs Up

FWIW my Halfrauds ones are still silent, though I do miss the Valeo indicator giving me an advance notice that in 6 months time the blades will need replacing Wink If they're that bad - why not take them back?

Some of you may remember that, way back in June 2007, I put a post on here about the (new) replacement blades from LR which I was assured would cure the noisy wiper problem.
Those blades, fitted over two years and almost 40,000 miles ago are still going strong - no smears and only the occasional groan - usually when the screen is covered in dead flies. Never known wiper blades last so long, since I usually change them every 6 to 9 months - but these are showing no signs of needing replacement yet. Thumbs Up
I was taught to be cautious.

Brought a pair of Valeo 12 months ago and they have been the best wipers I have had on any car.

The Yellow triangle with the "I" is just becomming starting to show which I guess means that they may need replaceing.

Anyone any idea how or why the color changes is it due to time or perhaps uv exposure

Seriously though, I left mine on for ages until they started getting streaky.

Hi
I just changed my wipers yesterday, to wait for it "TESCO" blades. They are half price at the moment and cost £3 each. They are the lay flat type.
And so far they are silent in all conditions much better than the Land Rover ones.

At £6 for a set I thought it was worth a go Razz .

Cheers
Graeme
