P.S. someone once told me that wedding dresses were white cos most household appliances were always that colour.
Is there any truth in that.......
Dunno, but when I find woman thing blocked up with evidence of a leak and perhaps a little rust (a regular occurence) she doesn't take kindly to my suggestion of an overhaul and a load of new washers, so perhaps not?I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
It’s far easier to send SWMBO in her Almera and keep my D3 safe from all those hazardous women parking and opening car doors.
I have a rigid boot liner that can pull forward onto the tailgate to load my own stuff or I simply open the passenger door and drop the rear seat back down, to gain access to the front of the loading space. 8)
Really the only food shopping that should be done in a D3 is for a BBQ......------------------------------

Jean-Paul,
Best to do a search for either loadspace/boot mat or liner.
I have the LR mat, it is definitley made of rubber, it is actually quite thick and chunky, which is what you would expect to match the car. It certainly protects the boot but does not help pushing things to the back of the boot area as things do not slide on it easily. Somebody posted recently that their mat was really slippery, but I think that was not the LR one.
I regularly use the seats in the back of mine and have found the LR Mat takes up alot of space , so I tend to leave it behind, in fact I may put it up on this site soon as have not been in the car for a year. I just keep a big piece of plastic carpet protector in the back, just for odd times I do need to shift something.
The boot liners protect more in the back as they go up the sides as well, I think these tend not to be rubber but more plastic material.
There are always a few of these on ebay so worth having a look at the pictures on there.
regards
