Planning atrip into Bendethra next week with a couple of mates to test run a hybred 4x4 he has built,just wondering if it is to wet. Norto might be able to get the good oil for me.

Kev,
There are some realy slipery steep parts when wet, and the hill desent cant cope, gives you a real hurry up, but some carefull acceleration regains steering controle. The up side is that there are good wheel ruts to help.
If wet choose the easy way in ie. via Moura then the only slipery bit is the Bendethera FT into the valley. Rember there is a very tight switch back on clay on the desent into the valley. If rain check river depth, it can raise quickley but goes down quickley.
