I don't think the Xenon conversion kits are compatible or practical on the D3, if you want Xenon, look for the LR non adaptive ones on ebay or PM Slimer, as these are the only ones that are plug and play.
I am pretty certain that TFC does not do tinting, although he might have a go if you offer beer I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

MelanieH, I was in the opinion it was just remove old lights and replace with xenons and go. Plug in n play so to speak.
However, this months Landrover Owner International, featuring Ken's FFRR TDV8, on page 139 at the bottom. A reader asks whether this can be done. He says it can be done but you need a electronic module to up the voltage.
Not heard of this, and Slimer will be the best man to answer, but my understanding is your D3 is plug in and play to be honest.
PM Slimer, he sells them and will definately know

Cheers guys - I've seen a conversion kit on ebay which is a plug and play - but wasn't sure what was involved.... My partner assures me he can do it himself.....hmmm! Yee of little faith! Mercedes SLK 280

Just make sure you don't get one that is 'adaptive' Xenon as it won't work properly I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

They are just plug and play - however the start up voltage is programmed between xenon and Halogen in the factory. worst you will get is a slight flicker (mine do one flash) when they are put on before the ignition.
No problems and they work fine - it's just the initial voltage is lower on one rather than the other.
I think Melanie was refering initially to after market conversions - and I wouldn't go there. However the whole unit replacement route is well worth the cash "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Tis easy Melanie, in the morning lift the bonnet, you will see above the lights two tabs that need to be lifted enough so that the holes align allowing the light to be pulled out, as soon as you pull it forward the electrical multiplug can be just detatched, hence plug n play. takes 5 mins each side

Melanie, if you want a set of genuine LR Xenon headlamp units I can sell you a pair for £425 + delivery. I'm sure you can buy a conversion kit but there has been posts on here in the past about the legality and quality of these
Anyway, choice is yours, PM me if you want to buy some The End
