His gear is well priced, and if he aint got it now, he will get it somehow. Canny ask for more than that, and will always try and keep my purchases forum based

I think LRO magazine were getting confused with after market bulbs kits as they mentioned the beam pattern being wrong on the halogen units.
All aftermarket xenon kits, which fit a bulb into halogen lenses are illegal as the lenses don's have the correct approval. They are starting to tighten up on it now.
I am tempted to buy the proper xenon lights which Slimer sells.

Why don't the adaptive xenons work as plug and play? I know I've read on the forum many times that they don't, but why? Is it a difference in wiring loom from non adaptive? Or is it software related? 16 D4 Landmark

Adaptives require an extra ECU, probably wiring and software too
D3 Xenons will be much harder to get hold of and will no doubt cost more (and price has already risen once due to reduced reduction) once the D4 is out so if you're considering buying some off me don't delay for too long The End

My dealers know I swapped lights from first d3 to current one. They even let me do it in the workshop during swap-over
I don't see any problems "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Hi Slimer - do you have any Xenons at the moment? If so, what price are you asking?
Hopefully this should take me to the five posts needed to send a PM too!

Probably, I'll ask, would be more expensive than the standard units for obvious reasons and unless you wanted 5 or more sets the discount avaialble won't be great. Will check though and get you a price if they're available The End

Am interested in a pair of these lights. Are you able to send them to Australia? and what would postage be?
Thanks
