I'm not sure that they are up to the job, I seem to remember reading about a weight restriction for the bars when I bought my roofbox.
I'm sure someone will tell us shortly.

Just thought about it a bit more logically. The weight restriction would be for load weight in transit. Static weight would be totally different. The L/R aero bars look a little feeble, but hopefully will be up to the job. Alternatively maybe the Thule bars are a bit more robust.

I'm not certain, but I think Red Defender got theirs from Peterborough.
