Maglights seem to be favourite and they come in different sizes too Life is what you make it.

FWIW: Mag lites now come in LED variants that are uncomfortably bright (4 watt) and wll last a long time on few batteries. I keep a 3 D-cell mag lite in the vehicle for digging around under the bonnet. Wouldn't go anywhere without one.

discodad, how are you getting on with the maggiolina? any problems, issues etc. am loooking for a "rooftop sleeping solution" and this seems to be the best one, like the howling moon etc but seems after research they may not be so good at the UK climate,
Had my Howling Moon 7 years now and had no problems just had a very wet week end nights at the Ribble Valley and bone dry and warm where have you got your info from Home of RLD Hidden winch mounts Spare wheel Locks Trailer Body Fabrication ray@rld-tech.co.uk D3/4 sump plates MY 14 sump plates and the Discovery Sport wheel protectors Discovery 5 wheel locks

It has been fine though. Very quick to put up & down but very little room.
(Make sure you go to the little boys room before you retire for the evening)!
I originally bought it for me & SWMBO for when we went touring abroad but may consider selling it if the price is right.

hey ray,
did a load of digging around on other LR forums and expo etc, everyone seems to love the howling moon, were some comments about the flysheet dumping water down your neck and flapping in the wind, nothing too major though,
Only when it raining and your getting in or out but you get that with them allHome of RLD Hidden winch mounts Spare wheel Locks Trailer Body Fabrication ray@rld-tech.co.uk D3/4 sump plates MY 14 sump plates and the Discovery Sport wheel protectors Discovery 5 wheel locks
