Let’s just get a little perspective here. Simon hasn't been banned but isn't posting on the site. There’s then a bunch of conjecture around this and people start getting shirty with each other. I sling in a pic to put some perspective on this and you’re treating it like I’m telling fart jokes at a funeral?
Perhaps Simon has a point. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Look, we can all be a PITA at times and Simon is no different. It's just that he is a slightly more prolific PITA more often than some others! Doesn't make him any better or worse than anyone else.
Best thing to do is pass over this thread and go find something interesting to fight about on one of the more lucrative threads. In fact, wasn't there a thread created specifically for the purpose when folks are getting too hormonal?
CW, my 'cry' as you put it was a response to all the , crappy 'having a pop for the sake of it coz I'm bored' type of posts that are all too frequent on here.
There's just too much of it and Simon (as I'm sure he'll acknowlege), was (is) one of the main protagonists and often dragged the topic of the thread away until it ended up getting locked.
I normally don't enter into these things, (but must admit to having a few whiskies that evening. ) so will ignore your obvious attempts at provocation.

Ooops, in hindsight I possibly shouldn't have raised this thread.
I raised it simply because one of our prolific posters hadn't been on site for a while.
Not because it was Simon, I would have raised it no matter who that individual was.
It was out of genuine concern for a missing member, not to generate hostility.
I'm happy for this thread to be locked or removed!
There have been far worse and pointless threads than this!

The only way to end hostility is to realise that it's all pointless ...and there is a better way ...like having a good laugh and taking the in a light hearted manner.
