If all LR's develop at the same rate, here's hoping that any new Defender will fill the void left by the D4....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

SN, I'm not so sad I downloaded 20Mb, but I am sad enough to notice that those look like cheap after-market tints on the back with the tell-tale white lining! - Strange on a photo shoot car? I hope they're still going to offer the privacy glass option because it helps the cars lines a lot.
Think it is factory privacy - mine is, and it has a line - look below

What I love
The nose job
Door cards
instrument cluster
seats
the technology and new engines
What I hate
color coded wheel arches
centre console looks boring if you look at the youtube film and pauze it on the interior
I think the '09 one looks better with the wood
I hate the principle of 1 screen and 1 knob does it all
I want lots of buttons and displays in my car
I still don't know what to think of the rear lights, but they do look better than the chrome edged ones05 TDV6 HSE AUTO 7seats, tonga green/alpaca, alpine roof, privacy glass, tow kit, wood kit, 20" stormers n summer, 18" in winter, fancy exhausts, rear seat ent., club fooked turbo!

Hmm, good point, I wonder what the future of the Defender is?

there's some argument that the '4' and '3.0' are not quite the same shading as the rest of the lettering - coz take them away (and the fake vent) it could just be an 09 Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Definately not feeling the grille...it's too RRS for my liking. Didn't like the rear light cluster before, don't like them now, looks too aftermarket. I also don't like colour coded wheel arches but would probably look loads better in a darker colour. Its kind of lost its chunky no nonsense appeal & gone a bit soft roader look.
The interior though is a different matter and the new engine looks promising.

Thats what LR are trying to do... make it softer and less aggressive and then pitch it against a Merc estate.

Land Rover is now keen for the Discovery 4 to be considered alongside the forthcoming Mercedes E-class estate, calling it “an executive estateâ€.
For good or bad, I think they have done a fine job

But I think that Rear Light Cluster is hiding something....
