Dipping Mirrors on an SE ??
In my “SETTINGS†menu I have an option to select “dipping mirrors on reverse†but when I select this option, nothing seems to happen.
So I’m wondering is the dipping mirror option actually available on an SE or is it like the cabin pre cool/pre heat, an option that really isn’t there.
Aren’t dipping mirrors only in conjunction with the electric seats on a HSE ??

I think you need to set the reverse dip position. Turn on the feature. Then put the car into reverse gear, and then set the dipped postition that you require in each mirror. Read the manual for more detail.

I was doing that "bloke thing" of not reading the manual......

Amazing isn't it. My old, even ancient 17 year old BMW has dipping mirrors that work while my brand new D3 SE doesnt. Lol, today outside temp was > 31 degrees while the D3 says that it was a balmy 24 degrees.
Pity that the BMW quality bug never seemed to totally become infused into Landrover as even at 17 years old the external temp monitor still works as well while the one on a D3 that I have only had for 5 weeks already doesnt.
Sigh.

My SE has electric seats and you can turn the dipping mirrors on or off. Some say the glass is half full. Others that it is half empty. I say 'Are you drinking that?"

Are electric seats standard on the SE in the UK or was it an option you selected ?

No leather, no electric seats & no xenons.......
