or he dug in and stood up on his nose - ouch
On the bright side the nose dug into the ground and held it upright, and looking at the pics virtually no damage to the bonnet or the rest of the front end. Just shows how well balanced and strong a D3 is, it didn't roll or crumple as many a lesser vehicle would have done.
Lesson for the future:
Next time make sure there's enough ballast in the rear to ensure level flight.Rob Smith
