Ah, but another thread talks about the 2007 model having "Hybrid TV module" as a £500 option, so maybe this is where it plugs in.

The wiring diags for the LR version show a MOST in and out from the TV tuner module going to the audio amplifier and TCM respectively, note that the other MOST enabled components make up the rest of the 'ring', having looked at the wiring diags, i'm not sure what the spare connectors are for Confused .... but i'll keep looking Wink

If my memory serves me correctly, and a lot of brain cells have rotted since, this was one of my very first posts. 12 months on, and still haven't found an answer.

think the answer is:-

nobody knows Thud

It doesn't even have a connector ID so I doubt it'll ever be used, there are connector ID's for lots of *stuff* not implemented yet, such as the TV module etc. so in the medium term at least, it appears to be 'spare'...

TSB LA415-003 "Discovery 3/LR3 - Infotainment System Fault Diagnosis Information"

and

TSB LA415-001 "Land Rover Speaker Diagnosis"

Should help, could be that no EQ file has been downloaded to the amp...

"Symptom - Vehicle has Harman Kardon Hi-line ICE and customer is complaining of poor or weak sound with too much bass but has the correct amplifier installed. Cause - No equalization (EQ) function file in the amplifier "
