Well, £30k should be my top whack but I suppose I could find an extra couple of grand if needs be. Can't get anywhere near 36k though!
This figure will include my p/x value which should be around 17k.
I've got a test drive booked for this Saturday so I'll know more after that.
Cheers,
NZ. Always forgive those who p*ss you off, but never forget their names......

Has a HSE listed at £29,994, but I think this may be a SE!
If you went for a V8 you will get it for the budget!
Thanks Nick,
That one came up on a Autotrader search, but I too beleive it to be a mis-advertised SE (infact you can see an SE badge in one of the photos) and don't even get me started on those wheels

Well I am off for a final test drive tomorrow morning with a view to putting down the deposit to secure end of month delivery. Not my first choice of colour/interior (Zambezi/Ebony) but hey, the price is right and the spec is perfect. Might have to push the dealer for mats and a bike rack if possible. Does anybody know if it is feasible to stick bikes on the roof as I have a couple of roof mounted Thule bike carriers. Might they be a little on the high side?
Think I'll need a good bootle of plonk to see me off to sleep tonight.

I'm also looking for an HSE. I've had difficulty getting dealers in the SE even interested in talking to me!!
Found a site autoebid.co.uk, doing dealer supplied HSE for £39,166. 4 to 6 weeks delivery. Another broker near me (dealtime.co.uk) has them for a bit more, though better price on SE.
No connection etc, possible future customer though.
Good luck!!

Brand Spanking new 06 Discovery 3 HSE with privacy glass thrown in for £39,000. Take delivery towards the end of the month after I have decided on the colour combination. They are giving me a relatively good PX on my BMW so I am chuffed to bits.
Lots to be said for looking towards the end of the quarter and finding a dealer that is short on target. Roll on April. 06 Bonatti Grey HSE, Ebony Interior with Privacy Glass & Rubbing Strips.
