Don't rush to Waterford

Anyone thinking of purchasing, service or warranty work in Ireland, don't rush to Waterford. It is laughable.
No feedback, just plenty of yes please, no thankyou, fob-offs.
My '08 HSE in there over a week now and little or no word only that they think its fixed, don't know what was actually done to it, if it needed parts or not, didn't realise they had it in so long, and so on so fourth.

Any similiar experiences? Big Cry

Which Dealer?

I think we all know, the one and only in Waterford!
Steering went awol, see thread Wandering around country roads.
Should have it back during this week, without any knowledge of what was wrong. Hard to believe it had its second service two weeks before the steering went and nothing spotted and was back the week after as there was a noise from the steering area however I was told it was not steering related and that the mechanic would ring around a few of his colleagues for clues. I never knew that they were covered under the official secrets act. They probably own that aswell. Rolling with laughter

How good ye have it

Ye don't know how lucky ye have it in the UK.
We poor unfortunates accross the water have no LRA, just AA, no customer service, just a small industrial unit in Dublin known as many things but if one tries hard enough will find it is also Land Rover Ireland, with one land line, no obvious e-mail address and no affiliation to the official Land Rover website. I just noticed this today when i was getting the run around yet again from my local dealer who I must admit I was stupid enough to purchase from in the first place, however I needed to have my HSE before the Revenue VRT increase in July and they were the only ones that could guarantee delivery before the tax hike. I then had to track down the faceless LR Ireland. One would think that with the number of D3's alone on Irish roads in the past few years that we could at least have our country included on the LR website. Is it a case of the Irish drinking from the hind tit of the Land Rover cow.
Just felt like a good rant, thats all Embarassed

Suppose credit where credit is due, My D3 back again and is as good as new. Don't know what they did to it but it is now 100%, waxed and valeted into the bargain and there was no charge for replacement D3 either.
