Have the same issue on my 08 LR3 - the white paint is peeling off on one of the grill slats - started small, but is now 5cm long 
So - do I repair the existing grill, and risk it continuing to be an issue as the rest of the grill may have the issue
Or - do a buy one of the aftermarket slotted grills, and just trim up the edge pieces to match my paintwork?
Anyone fitted and painted any of the new sports style grills? 08 LR3 SE V8 - 02 D2 SE7 V8
