AndrewS is right - they don't affect the door seals, it's only the schite deflectors on the bottom of the doors that don't make full contact
Exactly I don't want this stuff for Rays sills anyway The End

yes I know but I stuck the extra seals on mine just to deflect the road crap, there's no possible way of actually making them in any sense watertight I wouldn't have thoughtand theeeeennn......???

Did you get an answer ref the adhesive backing? Glueing them on will be a PITA2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
Ok good news is I've placed the order (you'll know that if you've had the PM), bad news is that it's not self adhesive so we'll need to work out a way that's durable - BM might have some advise.
My idea for fitting so far was to thorough clean and degrease the two contact surfaces and then use something like liquid nails or a thin double sided security foam-tape as used on UPVc windows.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

As for delivery to Ireland - I might be meeting with Tanters later this week. I'm sure he'd bring yours with him (provided I have the stuff by the time we meet ).LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

pull the trims off, clean the crap off the bottom edge, squirt along a line of this:
plus use some of these:
plus 30 mins for it to set enough to put the door trims back on and when they're re-fitted they
compress the seals enough for it to set properly..and theeeeennn......???

Sorry guys, won't make it to the SE meet as i'll be in Scotty Land - are you passing the Severn Bridge area (M48/M4) later this week? We could meet up in Chepstow if you are otherwise I'm waiting to hear from Tanters as we provisionally arranged for him to come to my place sometime this week.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

No not over till Sat week M , enjoy yourself up there
Oh, I'll hate every minute of it We've been invited to fish on a stretch of Salmon river which apparently costs up to £400/day this time of year Oh and my mate's friend is the guiley and he is coming along for 2-4 days!
The down side is that if I don't catch anything this time I'll be really p ssed off, not just annoyed, as I won't have any excuses LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
I couldn't find the Evo-Stik Wet Grab locally, so I ordered it from Screwfix with some other bits, it cost £7.29.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
