I had a new set of the LR ones in the summer, which was not the ideal time to try them out , but so far they have been quiet too (bit like me on this forum !). I think LR changed their design a while back, but certainly if these ones start squeaking then I will be ordering the Valeo's, I was just being lazy before as it was in for a service and was just easier to get the dealer to do it.

I got a set of OEM LR blades from Nick earlier in the week instead of the Valeo, will fit at the weekend and see how they go.
Another vote for Valeos and speeding.co.uk; changed due to blade detachment rather than squeak.
Some care is required on fitment- I broke the inner plastic mounting widget, but it's still secure in the metal arm. Took twice as long to get the old ones off; stupid catch.Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Just fitted some bosch 550S "Twin" (550mm long), one box with 2 blades for CHF35.- or about £17.00
Had to play with the blade centre fitting guide for the passenger side (LHD) to get it on but otherwise no problems. The blade misses the extreme parts (top left 1cm, bottom right 2cm) of the windscreen but seems very quiet indeed. Now waiting for rain! There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song
Thnks to Frenchy I need some new wiper blades, they were fine up until the w/e at LRE Snowdonia when he asked me if my wiper blades were original, and went on to say I was lucky, he's cursed them because now they've started the dreaded scrape
Reading this thread I'm assuming the Valeo UM665 are the ones to go for I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.
Cheers Jimbob, just ordered a set I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Bosch 550S "Twin" comes loose - dont buy
After 1 day rain, the Bosch fitting worked loose, not really good. Found a better solution - Nigrin Evolution 550. Units look like the Valeos, cost CHF30.00 (about £14) each. No squeaks yet. Can buy them in Switzerland at Conrad

or more cheaply in OBI stores. There's one wheel on my wagon, but i'm still rollin' along, it's the cherokee, they're after me, but I'm singing a happy song

Did half ad ay last week through torrential rain in central France on way back from Tunisia, would have driven me mad with the standard LR ones. Valeos the way to go, on my 2nd set.

Ours don't squeak but bang like a loose women on the pillars, despite me trying to adjust the park position. Is this a common fault?
