So can someone confirm you need a Valeo UM 665 for each side (drivers/passengers) and they are the same size?
(wife ran off with the car, can't look/measure).

Same size either side. Thought that was what britindus was asking, forgot he drives on the wrong side!

Hmm
They replied:
Thank you for your email enquiry.
Unfortunately the wiper blades on the Land Rover Discovery 3 model are a dealer only supply at the moment as they have a unique shape and fitting.
Sorry we couldn't help with this one.
Huh?
Will email them back and ask about the Valeo UM 665Disco3 is now gone but not forgotten. Waiting for Disco6 with full aluminium construction weight reduction and hybrid engine...

I think they mean the curve of the blade, is not forcing wiper onto the screen, but lifting it like a wing off the screen.Disco3 is now gone but not forgotten. Waiting for Disco6 with full aluminium construction weight reduction and hybrid engine...

The Valeo RHD blades work reasonably well on our LHD car. However they do lift a little at the top of the stroke. Still quiet, though.
Norto, what Bosch model did you fit?

I just ordered 2 off the speeding.co.uk site, arrived couple of days later, no problem. I think I put in the car type but that was a couple of weeks ago & I can't remember.

Removed double post because my Mac is playing silly with the wireless router. It drops the network every 30 seconds at the moment. Apparently it's a common fault with Leopard 10.5.4.

Hi Helpers.
Thannks for all your help. I have just ordered a set of the Valeo Silencio X-Trim Flat Blade UM665. I'm really looking forward to this because the noise of the present wipers is driving me insane. Thanks again
