A quick question regarding this modification. Does the car radio/cd have to be switched on to allow the Parrot to use the car speakers?

In other words, if I was driving along with the radio off, and a phone call came in, would I have to switch the radio on to be able to hear the caller?

My works with the radio off too, maybe its because its a 3200 (colour screen) and that it was fitted by a pro who knew his stuff. I listed his details in one of my threads. Totally happy with it and now displays the Landrover logo thanks to COUNTRYWIDE on here. Thumbs Up

Yep, works fine with the radio off Thumbs Up

I've had real problems with mine over the past few weeks - the other person couldn't hear me at all. Turns out the microphone was duff, so fitted a new one and all good again Very Happy

Ok after a bit of research I think I have figured out how to install it. I got the wiring harness for 10 and a used ck3100 for 47.50 off ebay. Its being delivered to my UK adress and I'm going to bring it to Canada to fit on my LR3. Hope it works ok. I have a question.

Do I have to unplug the battery before installing the kit?
Also, currently my LR3 doesn't have bluetooth buttons on the steering wheel. I have ordered a replacement steering wheel radio buttons with telephone. Does anyone know that once i replace my old buttons with this new one will the parrot ck3100 work with it? or do i have to change some other wiring?

I got the Multicomm kit and the Parrot CK3100 LCD. Now the multicomm has to be connected to the Parrot CK3100 LCD Interface for power and keypad adaptors. The multicomm has these wires.

red - power
black - ground
green - ?
brown-yellow - ?
Purple - V1
White - V2
Yellow - Mute

Now I can connected all of them except I don't know where to connect the green and the brown-yellow wire to on the interface since there are 7 wires there

Red - power
Black - ground
Green - ?
White - ?
Yellow - ?
Orange - ?
Copper - ?

Now the red and black from multicomm attatch to the red and black on multicomm interface but i don't know where to attach the green and yellow-brown wires from multicomm. Any ideas anyone? I know that the parrot LCD connects to the parrot blue box with 8 pins. Anyone have any wiring diagrams for those 8 pins.
