Anyone recommend a Detailer in Edinburgh ?
Gave the old girl a (long overdue) deep clean yesterday, inside and out. However the tailgate door is in a real state.Clearly the previous owner wasn't too fussy about getting all the road grit and grime off before washing it.The swirl marks make the paintwork look almost grey, and very dull, even after polishing.
I think I need a professional paint correction done, and just wondered if anybody had used anyone in the Edinburgh/Borders area that they could recommend ?
Cheers

Buy a cheap dual action polisher ( i got one from lidl) and a decent restoration polish and save yourself a fortune...mine was horrific when I got it, i was properly hooked on detailing for a while and it's amazing what you can do yourself with a bit of bilt hamber detailing clay and a decent polish and pad, if you want tips try detailing world but beware! It is very easy to get sucked in and spend a fortune on products! If you want any info I can recommend some products for you that worked very well on my disco. The boot as you say suffers horrendously.

Not the boot, but I got similar results there, this was about 2 hours work. Excuse the rubbish bags!

Good man! I tend to use chemical guys products, you can get a good discount from detailing world from both chemical guys uk and clean your car. Don't get sucked in by detailing world.....I did for 2 years, some people there are waay ott and it can get seriously political at times! Never thought it was possible to see people get so irate over cleaning a car have a serious stash of stuff now. Your right about java total nightmare for swirls, but lovely when clean and swirl free? What colour is yours?
