tuning and urban mpg
I know this subject has lots of mileage in itself, but does anyone use their disco in urban environments, have they had it tuned and found an improvement in fuel consumption?
my disco has 43K miles on it, I don't know whether it will be upset by tuning now she is mostly run in!

It will love being tuned, you'd just have to watch that the increase in mpg is not there cause you are treating the old girl like a new filly again!!!

tuning via turbomag magnets
First post ever on this forum so here goes....
I have a couple of turbomag magnets that i used on my mazda rx8 - got more power and better mpg (which was brutal before i put them on).
Now i want to put them on my Disco but need to find the fuel line! Any help on 'pictorially' showing me there this line is? taking off the engine cover only reveals a myriad of metal pipes and i'm not sure which one's the fuel line into the injection pump.
thanks for the help!

Hi Dubliner
If you take off the engine cover and locate the schraeder valve at the top rear of the engine - this is the valve to vent air from the high-pressure fuel line - you will be able to follow this back up the system
I experimented with these super-magnets years ago with a big V8, and they did -all for me, so I would be very interested to see scientific data if you do fit them
