So next weekend I’m going to attack the gearbox plan is drop pan drop mechatronic unit fit new gaskets fit new plastic cup put it all back together fill with oil see if that cures the judder without dr tranny if not I’ll put it back in 😂😂 only thing I don’t want to do is clear adaptations we have just done this on a l322 and it’s started acting up so I’m against doing it on the d3 anyone have any knowledge on the gap and the adaptations clear cheers

Those seals fit between the valve body and the trans except for the tubular one is where the electronics enter the trans and plug into the mechatronic unit (trans ECU).

Yes i did a valve body rebuild early last year, new solenoids.all seals, sonnax zip kit (repair/improve kit) and separator plate.
I didn't have any shuddering but i did have poor shifting, works like new now.

I had bad shudder but I’ve put dr tranny in and it seems to have solved the issue but I don’t like the idea of changing the viscosity of the oil so I want to try this kit if it doesn’t work I will in due course fit a new torque converter but it’s not something I want to do as I would probably do it myself and it doesn’t look an easy job

Bet that was a job and half I’ve seen it done but looks quite complex
