What worries me is that she is willing to vote such a mysogonist and liar to be president.
Not that she would vote for him, she is obviously absolutely stupid, but that there are enough of her in America that he might possibly win. That the second most powerful nation and the most advanced nation in the world could entertain such an idiot to be in charge is worrying.
Harris is a bit of unknown character but that is not the point. Americans need to vote to say who they don't want to be president so accept that due to their electoral system in order to stop him they only have one other option.
I remember when Trump won the 1st time the marches and protests with the slogan "NOT MY PRESIDENT", mostly younger voters and how many of them didn't actually vote?A visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.

Going to be paying more attention than normal to the US elections. It will be my 2nd election day spent in Washington but the 1st in the DC version rather than the state where it never stops raining, or so it felt! It’s going to be interesting if it all kicks off again.

Never have understood this fashion for getting "inked". One great advantage for the rest of us though, is that a makes a moron instantly recognisable, before we engage all with them.
The only tattoo I ever considered was a small one denoting my blood type, which is rare (only 2% of the population have it), but as I've got it on my phone now, I've given up on that idea.
As for Trump. The parallels with him and Adolf Hitler are uncanny. Talk about not learning from history.I’m a Disco 4 believer. What a vehicle!

It isn't difficult to draw such parallels about many people if you are looking for them. As an example (and no doubt this will be consigned to the Politics sub-forum) a few points that came to mind very much closer to home are included below. I'm sure it would be possible to draw-up equivalent lists for many others across the political spectrum:
The Nazis had dissenters punished quickly and without mercy;
The Nazis were obsessed by race, sex and disability;
The Nazis shut down opposing views;
The Nazis wanted an integrated Europe;
The Nazis had a politicised Police force;
The Nazis played with history to create a blemish-free mythical past;
The Nazis had a citizenry that were evangelical with The Message;
The Nazis could quickly whip-up large crowds promoting their views;
The Nazis had 'special' squads for dealing with trouble-makers;
The Nazis had a leader with a silly voice;
The Nazis relied on propaganda;
The Nazis had a state broadcaster that promoted their philosophy;
The Nazis twisted the language;
The Nazis oversaw a period in which there was hyperinflation (let's see what large public-sector pay increases do);
The Nazis would not even consider debate of views different to theirs;
The Nazi party pretended to be Socialist in order to be elected;
The Nazis liked academics to prove their virtue by denouncing other academics with the 'wrong' views (or religion);
The Nazis indoctrinated the children of their country;
The Nazis seemed a plausible alternative to the previous regime and appealed to the working man and woman with promises of better living conditions;
The Nazis spawned evangelical zealots;
Hitler's father was a toolmaker (maybe)

“The Nazis wanted an integrated Europe;”
Hitler’s “Europe” was a profoundly hegemonic construction, with Germany at the centre of an expanding empire, with all other states within that empire subservient to Germany. This was justified by muddled racial explanations and brute military superiority. Collaborators of the Reich across Europe were motivated by the desire to secure for their country an influential if still secondary role in a German Europe.
