I tested a Land Cruiser D4-D and was pleased... It was much better than expected. It was even a good car compared to my current D2 TD5... but no match with my future D3 Wink

My associate makes a remote starter kit for automatics, so you can simply press the button and the car starts with the alarm set and the car locked. If the heater is in normal mode that too will start and away you go when its warm.

Cannot be fitted to manuals for obvious reasons.

Dear Land Rover........

You can do that on a Toyota, apparently.

It would be far too sensible to actually do.

That's it... I'm buying a Toyota.....

I tried it this morning before reading this. Started with one key, tried to lock with the other. It did not lock.

Is it not illegal to leave your car running and un-attended? I am sure the insurance would take a dim view of it.

I just got me a chistmas present...........

It's illegal to leave a car running and unattended, I believe.

I don't think it's illegal to leave the key in the lock though.

Your insurers would likely refuse a claim if the car was stolen.
