Suspension dropping but only when battery connected |
|
It seems my car drops overnight but only if the battery is actually connected. If I disconnect the battery it holds itself up fine.
Is this a calibration issue? Does it think it's not level when it is and tries to fix it or something like that?

That is the correct outcome, it can't self level with no battery connected, you have a leak somwhere if its dropping a lot over night.
Dont forget if you park on un-even ground the car will lower to try to level the car, it wont go the other way, it does not run the pump.

If you have a leak, one corner would be down with battery disconnected.

To clarify - it does not drop when battery is disconnected. I’m concluding from that that there isn’t a leak. So something is making it drop all the way down (evenly front to back) when it has power. In my mind I think it is trying to level but never thinking it has managed it, so it keeps on going down.

One dodgy sensor can cause that.
Need to monitor the live values of the 4 sensors to see if one is erratic.
