Tailgate seating

Have any of the aftermarket companies done a tailgate seat similar to the RR one?

I'd like something to fit on the lower tailgate that would let me sit back in comfort and watch the world go by...

Put the 3rd row up and use a couple of large cushions.

or do as I did and make some padded boards that prop against them, but store flat on their side.

How about something like this?:

Plenty of other companies sell something similar but these are a bit bigger. Thumbs Up

Lean back .... Fall back ????

Reckon these look a better bet.

Might be tempted to give them a go myself, as they can also be used elsewhere
[eg on tailgate, on ground, small tent, etc]

Anybody want to buy some padded boards Laughing

Actually they are surprisingly stable. I’ve used a smaller version with a lower back support and never tipped backwards. Not that I’ve purposely tried to. Smile

It’s a commercial hence looking for the back support. I like the Decathlon option and will investigate.

Thanks, BCP

Excellent Thumbs Up

Can you please sent some photos of them in situ. I’m wondering if two would fit side by side.

Will do Thumbs Up

Though did check that for myself prior to ordering and width is quoted as 52.5cm.
But will only know for sure when received [Mon 7th].

That should be fine then. Thumbs Up

The FFRR boot opening is 112.7cm at the bottom. The D3/4 is at least as wide, if not wider.
