Main Bearings

Anybody knows where to get Main Bearings for Gen2 306DT Engines with a notch?!?

Seems like there are only Main Bearings without notches avaiable, but i would like to install Main Bearings with a notch on my GEN2 Engine.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Theres a thread on here about using the Ford F150 Lyon engine bearings, i bought these bearing and they were spot on. you have to buy them in pairs and you have to measure the crank and the block very accuratly and buy the correct size to give the correct running clearance i ended up with two different sizes on my crank. They are not cheap and you get hit hard by the import fees but they are the correct bearings and the engine i rebuilt is still running perfectly after 40k and tows 3.5t everyday.

You don't actually need to use notched bearings. The notch is just for locating purposes and won't stop a bearing from spinning.

The human eye is very good (even if, like me, you wear specs) and easily locate the bearing in the centre of the journal.

I'd recommend King Bearings. http://www.king-catalog.com/Catalog/Engine/331228

Exactly what i heard/read.

I even went for normal bearing without the notch.

The only problem is they only do one size of standard bearing, my engine had two different sizes from factory and the correct running clearance is critical on these engines.
