Can someone post a photo of their fuel burning heater?
Can someone please post a photo of the associated cables and fuel burning heater whilst it's in their bonnet as mine isn't turning in and the wires were disconnected however one of male connectors won't fit into the female connector, can someone just show me what they look like so I can wire it up as I've never had ti mess with it before.
Thanks,
Sol

Picture 1 of you ,shows that there is a “counter piece plastic” still attached to the plug…
Looks like something is broken off?Best regards

I'll have a go at getting it off, cheers it looked out of place but it fit weirdly enough maybe why it's not working
I think you can test it with the IID by tool and purge the fbh

that is a WRONG advice TBH
NEVER Purge a FBH when the fuel lines NOT have been disconnected or there is NOT an air bubble problem
(what almost never occures when the fuel lines not have been disconnected)
Purging is ONLY used for filling NEW or otherwise empty fuel lines... if otherwise used, you will fill the FBH burningroom with plain diesel (diesel does NOT evaporate by itself) so the burner will soot up very quick, glowplugs become isolated then and will die
IF you use your IID, just do a start/running sequence and let it burn for at least 10 minutes, NEVER shorter..Best regards

if it still clamps on the pins itself.... clean it (the pins) fit the plug as it is and a small dot of kit (like sika 291) to keep it in place .... saves a lot of money and hassle IMHO...Best regards

The plug isn't broken, the plastic cover from the FBH has snapped off and come off in the plug. A common problem where the plug gets pulled off without unlatching it first.
A common issue, you need a new plastic cover - salvage one from a secondhand/scrap heater?06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
