Make sure you don’t melt your nice new remote fbh unit on the, fbh exhaust, on the drive home (it will run itself )

Some people cable tie it to the top black bracket

Many Thanks for all the help.

The red suspension light is still on but it’s driveable.

Did a round trip of about 20miles and no further issues.

Did find a coke can had exploded under tge drivers seat so whatever module is there may start playing up but all-in-all I think we can drive back home as is.

A bit of a "wild card" this, but if the desiccant in the drier is old it may be holding too much moisture which has now frozen solid in the alpine conditions. This would severely restrict the air flow from the compressor to the reservoir.

If you have a diagnostic tool with you you should be able too see what's happening with the compressor in "live values" Alternatively a hair drier to warm up the drier on the compressor might help.

I have been trying to check values but I think the module maybe in the blink as the suspension is working but I have no special modes available now.

That sounds like a switch pack fault (water or some other liquid) See what tomorrow brings, in the meantime go and enjoy what's left of your day. Thumbs Up

Many thanks as goes to everyone on this forum who just about managed to keep me sane during my first jaunt in a LR product.

I must admit using Blu-tac for a bodge repairs was a first for me but I imagine there will be more challenges living with D3 later on down the line. Wink

I had a thought last night.

When the car would not start and was in access mode, I removed the battery to charge it overnight.

The car was parked on an incline and the rear of the cat was lower than the front of the car.

I am wondering if the module was reawakened thinking that the calibration was incorrect.

The front corners are showing minus numbers and the rear positive numbers on the scan tool.

I am think that if I raise the car to maximum height the back to normal and disconnect the battery on level ground it might sort itself out.

Anyone had this experience before?

Haven’t had time to check codes again today.

But now I have without fiddling got my special program drive modes back where previously the car decided they were off limits.

The car raises and lowers but the suspension light is still showing red. It complains when I raise it to off-road height saying ‘vehicle suspension raising slowly’

Nothing further to report other than I am not going to tempt fate and will stop any further meddling until I get back to the uk.

It would be wise to find out what's behind that RED warning lamp if you can. Especially given the journey to have ahead. Codes are there to at least point the way when a fault occurs, and if the switch pack is operating correctly perhaps you can now clear C1A30-64.

To leave it well alone if it's working is a very wise plan ! Enjoy the rest of your trip Thumbs Up

The Prof knows his stuff ! If you have an IID then clear the codes now it's all working, go for a short drive and then check again...

I will try clearing the codes again but as mentioned earlier I’m not going to start tempting fate.

I still think that the issue is related to what I mentioned earlier with the position sensors and the battery swap but as things stand the car is driving normally so I will tread lightly until something else crops up and I have to dig deeper.

Got rid of the red light using my icarsoft tool. For how long who knows but I must admit I did a little dance.
