Blimey mate u had some fun there , Not
good to see it finally came off , must admit I got hydraulic puller a few years back , but of course ur know better than myself if it’s suitable for a job like that , just wished to share the link just in case
U mentioning the lack of copperslip , reminds me of those rear upper wishbone bolts that are a complete to get off , what a job that was cutting through it
Indeed ref Christian & Vera , plus 1 with regards to him being an extremely clever guy , vera as u say is also very funny , can see her humour when she adds emojis to there videos as Christian is explaining things, lol
Plus bet that was extremely satisfying when it finally came off and celebrated with a brew , lol
This was the puller I got , assume there the same , just a different colour

There was mention above about not exerting too much pressure on the half shaft. CV boot damage etc. I have got a puller that would have done the job, see pics at the beginning of this thread. These hydraulic pullers you have look the business. I will check out the link now. Thanks budd, oh and yes great relief it’s off. Only thing now, my body feels like I have done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. Currently own

Hi
Ah apologises I missed that with regards to applying too much force, many thanks and saw the puller picture u had , suppose that’s what made me think of the hydraulic one to see if it could make life easier
Wonder if u can use them by adding very slight pressure then hit with a hammer, or heat to make life easier removing them , but of course I haven’t got any experience on these wheel bearings
The 3 x arms can completely come off the threaded centre hydraulic ram , I got it when I was doing the rear upper wishbones along with the bushing removal kit which I found a godsend to remove the upper knuckle bushings
I bet u do mate , at least now that’s the hard part over
All the best
Ps, managed to find a picture of that bush kit I also got , think it was around £65-70
