Anyone able to help me out near Dunkeswell? Want to check the disco for faults & calibrate the new transfer box I’ve put on
Happy to pay for someone’s time 👍

The Gap units are vin locked they will be able to give you the fault codes but thats about all.
You dont need diagnostics to calibrate the transfer box.

Is there anyone in or around Milton Keynes who has the right kit to be able to read air-con fault codes from a 2007 D3 HSE and could be persuaded to help me in exchange for a few beer tokens (cash) or actual beer?
My local mobile air con man has told me that I don’t have a leak, but the air con compressor is not engaging/working.
Could be electrical issue with pressure sensor or solenoid so I’m hoping the fault codes might give more of a clue. Compressor replacement looks like a real chore I’d like to avoid.
(I’m on the west side of MK)
I’d appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Scott

Is the front of the air con pulley still in place?
If not sure shine a torch down into the bellypan and check for the plate or the rubber buffers.

Thanks Chris, will pm you.
I think the front of the pulley is still intact (see photo).
I cant see any debris on the top of the plates but I’ll need to remove them to check properly.
