TPMS Disable
is it possible to disable the TPMS using IID tool so I can fit a set of mud terrain tyres for offroading such that the car will not report a fault and still pass an MOT?

Check that your insurers are happy. It’s a safety feature that underwriters take into account when assessing risk and your premium. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Correct me if I'm wrong but surely it will fail MOT if no TPMS light on the dash on startup?

I had to disconnect the connectors at each wheel arch sensor in addition to switching it off using the iid tool.Stewart

That is the best option as it is a legal requirement if TPS is fitted be aware there are two types of TPS.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

It is not advisable to use a battery charger with a diagnostic tool of any type, if anything is used to supplement the battery it must be a power supply, I have never found it necessary so long as the battery is in a good state. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
