Hi,
price wise I would think max £100/tyre you have to factor in £10-£20 for fitting each as well.
the seller has a number of other sets all with the same sort of repairs x4 all with 1 repair in each.
Speak to them and see whats on offer 
Our company cars used to have a max of 2 repairs, have done mannnnnnny miles with a puncture repair and we were towing trailers most of the time.
I would question any repair close to the edge
(some of their other listings have repairs on the very edge  )
and whats the DOT code are they old as well?

I would expect "mint" to mean they'd be no chips at all on the wheels.
TBF to the seller he has said used although I would have expected the repairs to the tyres to be mentioned.
I'm happy to run on tyres with repairs so long as the wheels haven't been run while deflated as I'm more concerned about the sidewalls generally than a repair to the tread area...which is tricky to say if it isn't you who suffered the puncture.
As for value, I paid £400 for 4x 255/50/20 Scorpion as-new take-off tyres delivered to the Highlands.
I wouldn't have paid £400 for them if they'd had repairs. I'd be concerned if the punctures meant the noise suppression blocks in the newer Scorpions were messed with also. Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Oh, and as for contact details, if they are a business seller, which from the look of the sheer number of tyres/wheels they're selling/sold they absolutely look to be, both eBay and the government require certain things from them, such as providing contact details and a returns policy.

Finally, I'd change your thread title as they item was described as used not new...however I still think I'd return them were I you.
In my experience, Paypal, if you paid with it, are normally very good with getting refunds sorted if you have a reasonable case. Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

I lived within walking distance and used them many times, never had a problem. Just off the Segensworth Roundabout near Fareham. Gone but far from forgotten 55' plate HSE.

Thanks for everyone's help - just to be clear its not about the garage or how they sell on ebay.
I posted as I wanted advice on the circumstances and the best cause of action.
So far they have been ok with me - just need to see now if we can agree on what to do next.

It would be nice to identify them properly, as I could well do business with them, face-to-face, rather than through EBay - to mutual advantage: saving them fees & allowing me to inspect before purchase.
