that is a big enough leak to see exactly where it is coming from, just follow the large drip to its source.

That’s water from the air con condensate drain surely. Looks too thin to be gear oil? Gearbox will be oily from your existing leak which makes it look way worse than it is.

Yes air con was on low setting

Is this how it drains or is it the start of another problem?

Looking now it does look like water!

Yep 2 drains come through the gearbox tunnel just above the gearbox and drip water down onto the box. They will make plenty of water especially in this weather. Worth checking the drains are both clear as they can block up and flood the foot wells.
