Well I read on here somewhere about the company Keys in Post.
Very good experience here, as I had a cheap replacement key and fob given with my truck, purchased used. I had no key number. So I took a photo of the key from the top looking down and in a couple weeks I had a key.
I went to program the key and tried multiple times with my IID BT. The key kept failing time and time again.
I pulled it out and looked it over, and it was then that I realized that the new fob the key came attached to was very light. Yes there are no guts in the fob, cause I bought a key not a key and fob. Luckily I had a replacement FOB of the right Hz in hand off the Bay, switched in the guts to the new fob and bang, first try programming went right thru. 2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic
