Yes that useful Nick H. Never knew that and the handbook fails to mention it. Gotta give that a go, even though wipers don't need changing.

Just reporting back that I actually got this to work for me today.
First attempt didn't work, second attempt worked but wipers reverted to normal . Thie ignition had turned itself off, as I had the key in my pocket and closed the door. Third attempt, left keys in the car and door open, worked perfectly. Top tip about a towel under the wiper arm to protect the windscreen.

Indeed and hated the ones thag came with a packet of all different adapters
